Austin Barnes (toe) activated from IL

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes was activated from the injured list on Saturday.

Barnes had been on the IL since May 19 with a toe injury.

Barnes was hitting .219 with two home runs and 10 RBIs in 41 games before landing on the IL.

He is expected to be in the starting lineup on Saturday against the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers are hoping that Barnes can provide a spark to their offense, which has struggled in recent weeks.
