Juventus Hope Chiesa Returns Before 2022
Juventus manager Max Allegri has revealed that the club is hopeful of having Federico Chiesa back in action before the end of the year.
The Italian winger has been sidelined since January after suffering a serious knee injury in a Serie A match against Roma.
Chiesa underwent successful surgery on his knee and is now recovering at home.
Allegri said that the club is taking a cautious approach with Chiesa's recovery, but they are hopeful that he will be able to return to training in the coming weeks.
"We are very happy with the progress that Chiesa is making," Allegri said. "He is working hard in his rehabilitation and we are confident that he will be back playing before the end of the year."
Chiesa's return would be a major boost for Juventus, who are currently third in Serie A and in the semifinals of the Champions League.
